GREEN BUTTERFLY RELIQUARY

The Ornithoptera Priamus butterfly, often nicknamed "the most common of bird-winged butterflies", is in reality far from ordinary. It is found exclusively on a few small islands in the Pacific, notably in Papua New Guinea, south of the Moluccas and in the Solomon Islands. Unfortunately, these natural habitats are gradually disappearing under the pressure of human activities.

This protected species is therefore accompanied by a CITES certificate, guaranteeing compliance with international regulations. In this butterfly, only the males display bright colors, while the females, although larger, display more discreet brown hues.

To preserve this natural wonder, our specimens now come from a specialized farm in Indonesia, combining conservation and sustainability.
