Washing & Care Instructions

  • Cushion cover washing:

    • Hand washing recommended: To preserve the delicacy of the wool and the relief of the embroideries, opt for gentle washing in lukewarm water (maximum 30°C) with a special wool/delicate textiles detergent.

    • Machine wash (quick option): Use only the Wool / Delicate program cold or 30°C max, with a gentle spin (400 to 600 rpm maximum) to avoid felting the wool or distorting the embroideries.

    • Turn the cover inside out: Always wash the cover inside out, with the zipper closed, to protect the embroidery threads.

  • Drying & Ironing:

    • Tumble dryer strictly prohibited: Heat would shrink the wool and linen.

    • Flat drying: Dry flat on a towel, away from direct sunlight to preserve the vibrancy of the ochre and beige pigments.

    • Ironing: Iron on the reverse side at a low temperature (gentle Cotton/Linen program) with steam to restore the linen's suppleness. Do not iron directly on the raised embroideries.

  • Care of the filler cushion:

    • Regularly air out the filler cushion to restore its fluffiness.

    • If necessary, the synthetic filling can be machine washed at 30°C (standard program).
